2012 The Eurofi Financial Forum – Brussels

Addressing growth and stability challenges in the context of the new financial regulatory framework

An event organized by Eurofi in association with the Cyprus EU Presidency and open to representatives of the public authorities and financial industry representatives.

Attendance to this Forum is by invitation only and free of charge.

The aim of this Forum is to facilitate open and interactive discussions between public decision-makers and leaders of the financial industry on the major on-going reforms in the financial sector.

We will in particular address the challenges posed to the financial sector by growth and financial stability objectives and the project to move towards an effective European Banking Union.

The main regulatory projects conducted by the EU Commission – CRD IV, crisis management framework, Liikanen report, shadow banking reforms, risk disclosure practices, MiFID review / MiFIR, post-trading regulation, UCITS V, investor protection rules, project bonds and new financial mechanisms to favour growth in Europe, extra-territoriality and cross-border access rules – will be discussed on this occasion taking into account the reforms steered on the international level.
